Update for AP Bio
Hello Dearest AP Bio Students,
I have been closely monitoring College Board's adjustments (as you can imagine). They are only going to test on the first 75% of the course, so for us, that means through Unit 6...so we are in pretty good shape. I will need to cover Biotech when we begin again on the 1st, as that is the end of Unit 6 material. After that, I imagine doing a brief review of the last 2 units JUST IN CASE they are addressed in some way, but this will be very brief and most of you have a good grasp of Natural Selection and Ecology already...Once we do that, we will be in total review. I will assign our review project...and then you will need to decide if you want to take the exam sooner or later...it will be up to you but our class will continue to meet and do things, for your ATC grades. As soon as I know what our class meeting schedule will be, I will be setting up zoom meetings for us, to answer your questions and teach that last bit of unit 6.
On a more personal note, I spent spring break being pretty devastated at the prospect of not seeing your (mostly) shining faces for a while...the uncertainty and interuption of our progress felt like a huge loss to me. So it has been hard for me, as I am sure it has been hard for many of you. I am determined, however, to move forward, to prepare you and support you in the best way I know how. Please reach out if you have questions or concerns, or just want to say hello. Things will be more clear once we begin our video meetings. I miss you all so very much, and can't wait to see you on video chat.
Very sincerely,
Ms Ferguson

Welcome to AP BiologyThis is AP Biology. One of the most feared, and revered, courses in the College Board’s repertoire. Yes, it is a great deal of information...and to be successful, you will need to be an active participant in your own learning...EVERY DAY. That said, you will be successful if you give your best effort. I will help you. You can do this.
